Luxury Wedding Styling at Grantley Hall: An All-White Anniversary Celebration

What do you mean I got to style my first celebration at Grantley Hall?

And yes, it was every bit as wonderful as you’d imagine.

There are some venues that simply have a presence. Grantley Hall is one of them. Calm, architectural and in every way luxurious.

When my lovely client Clare got in touch just six weeks before her and Anthony’s 20th wedding anniversary dinner, she had a beautifully clear vision: an all-white palette, candlelit caterpillar tables, white roses and a room that felt intimate, layered and unmistakably luxurious.

In other words, exactly my kind of wedding styling.

Creating Atmosphere Through Layered Design

When styling a luxury celebration, atmosphere always comes first.

Candles were the foundation of this design. Lots of them.

A carefully curated mix of heights, textures and styles created depth across the room, while the sheer volume of candlelight introduced the warm, moody glow Clare was hoping for. The goal was that unmistakable moment when guests step into the room and simply stop for a second.

You know the one.

Modern All-White Wedding Styling

To soften the space, we used velvet table linen with a subtle texture that added richness without overdoing it.

The top table was heavily draped to create a romantic focal point for Clare and Anthony. On either side, floral installations cascaded to the floor, filled with delicate gypsophila and white roses. It was intentionally understated with the goal to impactful, never excessive.

The bespoke round dance floor sat at the centre of the room, positioned with intention so that the caterpillar guest tables echoed the architecture of the Grantley Suite. As guests entered through the patio doors, we wanted the room to stop them in their tracks.

Each table was finished with gold beaded charger plates, polished cutlery and personalised newspapers telling Clare and Anthony’s 20-year love story, specifically sized to fit perfectly on top of the Grantley Hall napkins.

The Vibes Were On The Way

As I was putting the finishing touches in place, The Aston Band were rehearsing in the background, and I knew the evening was about to be something very special.

The team at Grantley Hall were exceptional as always, ensuring everything ran seamlessly before the guests arrived.

And while we’re here, may I formally begin a campaign for all venues to invest in butter trays as aesthetically pleasing as Grantley Hall.
